The Hotel SofíaThe Hotel Sofía, reopens its doors after 2 years of works for a comprehensive renovation. This renovation has included the façade with the aim of attracting both international and national clients, as well as Barcelonans, and offering a high-quality service that places the hotel among the best at an international level.

This is the first major renovation of the building since its creation in 1975 and Marcasal has been part of this major renovation. 

Hotel Sofía has updated its proposals through a new concept in its common spaces; pool, spa and bar and in its 447 rooms and 18 designer suites.

The project has the most advanced home automation technology in the sector. Those responsible for interior design have worked with the Marcasal team to materialize each of the textile solutions in rooms and common areas. 

In the suites and rooms, the canapés, the headboards and the technical and decorative curtains have been made. In the pool area, sun loungers have been upholstered and a bench in the pool area has been covered. The sofas have also been made in the SPA area.

One of the most unique spaces in the Sofía hotel is the Zuu bar, inspired by the lively Parisian cabarets of Pigalle, where the Marcasal team created a large red curtain.
