The restaurante Brutusdesigned by the renowned interior designer Sandra Taruella,is a space that perfectly combines modernity and warmth, where every detail has been carefully considered to offer a unique experience. In this project, Marcasal Marcasal played a crucial role, being responsible for the wooden structure of the sofa,designed by Sandra Taruella, as well as the upholstery of the sofa and the cushions for the wooden benches inside the restaurant.
Custom suede sofa.
One of the most striking elements of the room is the impressive custom-made suede sofa crafted entirely by Marcasal.This wooden-framed sofa was exclusively designed by Sandra Taruella for the restaurant, perfectly fitting the industrial yet cozy style of the space. The suede upholstery,besides offering asoft and luxurious texture,adds a touch of sophistication and warmth that contrasts with the concrete and metal finishes of the surroundings. The design of the sofa, with its clean lines and robust shapes, is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides comfort and elegance, making it a central piece in the restaurant’s seating area. The choice of materials, a collaborative effort with the interior designer, and the care in its craftsmanship reflect the attention to detail and quality that Marcasal brings to each of its projects.

Bench cushions.
In the interior lounge of Brutus Restaurant, Marcasal crafted the cushions for the benches,adding a touch of comfort and elegance to the space. These benches are fitted with cushions covering the seat, backrest, and sides,creating an integrated design that envelops diners in a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere.
Each cushion has been tailored to perfectly fit the lines of the bench,using high-quality materials that guarantee both durability and comfort. The upholstery blends seamlessly with the industrial yet warm ambiance of the restaurant, offering a comfortable experience without sacrificing style. The use of cushions on these three surfaces —seat, backrest, and side— ensures that customers enjoy an enveloping feeling while relaxing and enjoying their meal.
In addition to their functionality, the cushions add an extra layer of design that subtly contrasts with the harder and more robust materials of the space, balancing the aesthetic with soft, comfortable touches.
In short, both the suede sofa and the bench cushions are clear examples of the impeccable collaboration between Sandra Taruella and Marcasal at Brutus Restaurant, where every textile solution has been created to add value to the overall design and enhance the customer experience.
