The hotel W Opera de París Located in the privileged setting of the Paris Opera, at 4 Rue Meyerbeer, it has recently undertook a renovation of the interior design of its common areas. The work was carried out by Daniela Baeza and Antonio Puig as head of the project by GCA Architects, who have relied on the Marcasal team for the materialization of the textile project.  

The parallelism and references to the Opera are very present throughout the project. The fabrics chosen for the project have a special relevance of inspiration in the Opera. Velvet has been used both in the curtains, like curtains, and in the upholstery of chairs and sofas appropriate for the imaginary seats of the public. The scene is completed with cushions in matching colours.

The background of the stage is interpreted by metal meshes that provide different atmospheres to the whole. This metallic background collaborates in the differentiation of the spaces and their functionality, at the same time, it serves as a common thread uniting the lobby, a transition space between the lobby and the restaurant, and the different spaces of the W Opera.
