The AC Hotel Gavà Mar is a modern and elegant hotel located in the coastal area of Gavà, near Barcelona, known for its sea views and impeccable interior design by Carlas Navas de Wit BarcelonaMarcasal played a key role in this project, providing textile solutions in the rooms, common areas, and lounges that combine functionality and style, creating an unforgettable experience for the guests.
Rooms at AC Hotel Gavà Mar:
Marcasal has crafted the curtains and cushions in the hotel rooms, paying attention to every detail to complement the contemporary and relaxing atmosphere of the AC Hotel Gavà Mar. For the curtains,a double-layer design was chosen. The first layer consists of translucent sheer curtains that allow soft natural light to enter, creating a bright and soothing atmosphere. The second layer is a blackout curtain of the Foscurit type,designed to ensure privacy and completely block out light when needed. This double curtain system not only provides full control over lighting but also contributes to creating a comfortable and restful environment, perfect for guests looking to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring the city.
Cushions: Color and texture details.
The cushions,carefully confeccionados por Marcasal, crafted by Marcasal, are another key element in the room design. They come in two different sizes and feature a combination of mustard and emerald green tones, which elegantly contrast with the white bedding and the neutral tones of the furniture. This color choice adds vibrancy to the space, evoking the freshness of the coastal surroundings while reinforcing the hotel's modern style.
Functionality and elegance in every space.
Thanks to Marcasal’s expertise and dedication in crafting custom-made textiles, each room at the AC Hotel Gavà Mar offers a perfect fusion of functionality and aesthetics.The double-layer Foscurit curtain system ensures maximum privacy and darkness when needed, while the cushions add a decorative and cozy touch that invites relaxation. This harmony between design and comfort guarantees a unique and pleasant stay for all guests.
Common areas and lounges.
Not only were the rooms at AC Hotel Gavà Mar dressed, but Marcasal was also responsible for crafting the curtains for all common areas, lounges, and the hotel’s nightclub. The nightclub, in particular, stands out for its impressive green-toned decor, where the carpeted floor and velvet curtains are perfectly coordinated, creating a sophisticated tone-on-tone effect that envelops the space.
The use of carpeting combined with matching velvet curtains brings an unparalleled sense of luxury and elegance. In the nightclub, this technique has been applied masterfully, achieving an immersive and warm environment. The softness of the velvet curtains and the texture of the carpet add depth to the space,while their ability to absorb light creates an intimate and cozy atmosphere. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, this combination also helps improve the venue’s acoustics, providing a multisensory experience where the sound is clearer and more controlled.
The use of the same shade of green on the ceiling enhances the visual continuity and depth of the design, highlighting the elegant and modern character of the space.
