The Hotel Hesperia Presidentelocated in Barcelona, stands out not only for its quality service but also for its attention to detail in every one of its spaces. On this occasion, Marcasal Marcasal has contributed to this special project by crafting a custom-made reception sofa,a centerpiece that becomes a symbol of comfort for guests as they enter the hotel.
Reception sofa: design and crafting.
The sofa, upholstered in high-quality velvet, has been custom-designed to seamlessly integrate with the hotel's contemporary and sophisticated aesthetic. Its curved design,which follows the shape of the space, requires a complex upholstery technique, with each curve and corner carefully worked to achieve a flawless finish.
This large and enveloping sofa features a curved backrest that not only offers a high level of comfort but also adds a sense of fluidity and movement to the design of the space. The velvet used is not only soft to the touch but also brings a touch of luxury and sophistication, complementing the warm and neutral color palette that dominates the reception area.

Upholstery techniques and color.
The upholstery technique for this sofa is no easy task.
