The Room Studio
Juno Housethe first women's club in Barcelona designed exclusively for women. Located in the heart of the city, this innovative space has been created with women's needs and tastes in mind. The interior design project, carried out in 2022, is the work of The Room Studio, while Marcasal has been responsible for providing all the textile solutions that adorn the venue: wall upholstery, sofas, armchairs, and curtains.
Marcasal has made its mark on Juno Houseby crafting curtains, armchairs, and sofas that stand out for their elegance and comfort. The selection of textiles and designs has been meticulous, creating an environment that impeccably combines functionality and aesthetics. Each textile element has been designed to complement the interior design by The Room Studio, resulting in a cohesive and attractive space.
CURTAINS, ARMCHAIRS, AND SOFAS.
The sofas and armchairs, crafted by Marcasal, are upholstered in high-quality fabrics, providing both comfort and a touch of sophistication.
Marcasal has used a combination of textiles of velvet on some armchairs and other fabrics on others, highlighting the tufted upholstery technique. The sofas, with their curved design, require a more complex upholstery technique, achieving perfect finishes. Both the armchairs and the sofas feature curves and rounded shapes, contributing to the aesthetic harmony of the space.
With a focus on exclusivity and elegance, Juno has become an oasis for the women of Barcelona.
UPHOLSTERED WALLS
A special mention goes to the upholstered walls, a work by Marcasal.The technique used involves carefully aligning and stretching fabric panels over a padded base, creating a smooth and continuous surface that not only adds an element of luxury but also improves the acoustics of the space. This technique requires precision and skill, ensuring that each panel is perfectly placed to maintain the desired uniformity and aesthetics.
Marcasal has crafted specific curtains for each area. The linen curtains allow light to pass through, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. In the relaxation area, white blackout curtains have been used, providing light and relaxation, while in other areas, thick blackout curtains have been installed to create different environments.
With a focus on exclusivity and elegance, Juno has become an oasis for the women of Barcelona. This women's club has been designed to provide a unique space where women can meet, socialize, and enjoy special moments in an environment created especially for them. Juno perfectly combines the interior design by The Room Studio with the textile solutions from Marcasal.
